About Yingda Wang 王英达

Yingda Wang 王英达 received her Ph.D. from the Chinese Classics Research Institute at Fudan University in the spring of 2022. Her dissertation focuses on poetry anthologies written and collected in the Ming dynasty, which as a constant self-defining process of poetic culture, reveals a historical moment of interaction between poetic reception and production among different groups of poets.

She is currently a graduate student in Film and Media Studies department at Columbia University. Inspired by the experimental thought in digital humanities brought by the democratization of technology, she would like to explore the digital culture with related theories in hope of an in-depth understanding of the transmission of literary culture along history and into transmedia forms.
