Digital Designer
Caterina Peracchi has a BA in Japanese Studies from Georgetown University, and an MA in East Asian Studies from New York University. Her research interests include Italian influence in Japan during the Meiji period, Meiji yōga art and its artists, and the Japanese Western-style art school Kōbu Bijutsu Gakkō. Her Master Thesis explored the impact that Fontanesi and Ragusa had on the diffusion of yōga art during the Meiji period. She is currently part of the digital project Italian Religious Life in New York City: A Digital Reconstruction (1860-1921).
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and drawing digital illustrations and comics.
