Tayssir Khalfallah holds an MA in International Relations from Budapest University of Economics and Business. Before entering the rare book trade, they worked in film, IT, and social media management, experiences that continue to shape how they approach communication and historical material. They joined Antiquariat Inlibris in 2025 as a cataloguer specializing in SWANA material and Islamic manuscripts, while also managing the firm’s social media. Their interests include North African book and manuscript cultures, languages, and scripts. They particularly enjoy revisiting works whose histories have been misidentified, oversimplified, or only partially understood, and using careful research to recover the details that bring their contexts and significance into clearer view.
