About Zachary Butler

Zach Butler is a PhD student in New Testament at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS). He received his MDiv specializing in Biblical Languages at NOBTS and his BA in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Studies at Mississippi College. His research interests are primarily in the areas of New Testament textual criticism and the use of the Greek New Testament in the writings of the church fathers. Zach worked as a research assistant for latest edition of the CNTTS New Testament Critical Apparatus that is available on Accordance and Logos. He is currently a doctoral fellow for the Greek Paul Project, a collaborative project with the Museum of the Bible in which transcriptions of the Pauline Epistles will be utilized for new critical editions such as the Editio Critica Maior and the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece. He is originally from Philadelphia, Mississippi but currently lives with his wife in New Orleans, Louisiana where she is a high school teacher.
