We have arrived at a point in time where it is relatively easy to establish your very own digital archive, where you can store your library, notes, work in progress, etc. This is incredibly useful, as we are taking more and more control over our own workflow. However, it also means that we have to curate it ourselves, and here we need to be careful. In a series of posts I will cover some points that one should be aware of when establishing a digital archive.
In general, an archive means:
- Data gathering
- Data sorting
- Data storing
- Data retrieving
In future posts, these four categories will be further explored.
