Maria S. Thomas is a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam working on art, epigraphy, and devotion in the medieval Middle East. She studied Art History at the University of York, followed by Interdisciplinary Area Studies at the University of Oxford.
Maria is currently developing a digital corpus of Syriac, Greek, and Arabic inscriptions from the Levant.
