Editor for South Asian Studies
Raafat Gilani is a researcher whose work explores the intersections of digital humanities, computational literary studies, folkloristics and cultural analysis, with a particular focus on South Asia and lesser-represented traditions such as Kashmiri. His projects include building DH tools for textual analysis and corpus development, alongside examining the role of AI in cultural preservation and representation. He has also gained professional experience as an editor and content analyst with organisations such as HarperCollins and Turing.
