About Agnes Sung 

Agnes Sung is a passionate explorer of the past. Armed with an MA in Archaeology and Heritage of Asia from University College London, as well as an MA in Buddhist Studies and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Hong Kong, Agnes possesses a unique interdisciplinary perspective. With research interests lying between Silk Road studies and Buddhist art, her current research focuses on the trade and iconography of glass along the ancient Silk Roads in the first millennium CE. Her passion for digital humanities is evident through her current work in applying GIS to archaeology and the digitization of archaeological sites, notably Buddhist temples and mural paintings.
